Regal Ascend Swoops Late To Score Maiden Win

After making ground late first up at Moe over 1200 metres, a 1400 metre Maiden at Terang on March 17th 2026 looked ideal for Regal Ascend. Beginning well from the good barrier, jockey John Allen had the daughter of Wootton Bassett settling just off the speed. On turning the leader skipped away, but once in to clear room the three year old filly knuckled down to her task and scored her maiden victory.
