Themoonlitegambler Leads From Start to Finish

After a solid 4th at The Valley last start and two second placings before that is was back to Moonee Valley again on August 20th 2022. In a Benchmark 78 over 2500 metres on a suitable Heavy 9, jockey Daniel Stackhouse found himself in the lead coming to the first turn. With no outside pressure Daniel was able to dictate terms in front and increased his lead before the turn and held off a late challenge from the 2nd placegetter to score a tough staying win.
