Canopy Has a Change of Luck

In her fifth racetrack appearance, the little daughter of Jungle Pocket finally had a few favours go her way and now has a maiden win next to her name. In a 2100mtr 3yo + Up Maiden at KIlmore on the 18th April 2011, Canopy with Dale Smith aboard was able to settle on the fence midfield from a good barrier. At the 600mtr mark she worked up along the fence and with gaps opening in front of her, she found herself hitting the front in the straight holding off all challenges to score a 1/2 length win.
