With only a small field for the first 2yo race of the season in Victoria the Listed Maribyrnong Trial Stakes seemd a good starting point for the son of DeLago Brom. After beginning well from the barriers, jockey Chris Symons was able to travel on the pace before giving the 2yo his head at the 400mtr mark to finish a strong second doing his best work on the line to give DeLago's Lad a balck type placing in only his first start.
