After a luckless run last start at Pakenham, Impending Diamonds owners were hopeful for a change of luck at Bendigo on June 4th 2024. In a Fillies & Mares Benchmark 58 over 1300 metres, the 4 year old mare began fairly from the gates before mustering speed and Jamie Mott had her placed midfield on the fence. On turning Jamie elected to ride for luck and it panned out perfectly, with Jamie pushing the daughter of Impending through an opening to sprint away for a very commanding 2.75 length victory.
