cash for diamonds lands maiden win
After an encouraging first up run for the stable at Cranbourne over 1400 metres where the 4yo Mare got well back and hit the line strong to finish a close third, the stable was looking forward to her following start. Moe was the place it was to be and a Maiden over 1628 mteres on a Heavy 9 looked ideal for the daughter of Dash For Cash. After being slowly away from the barriers, jockey Jamie Mott piloted a course from the 800 metre mark to have the Mare in the firing line on the turn before careering away for an impressive 2.25 length margin win
