Methuselah Salute's In the Tasmanian Derby

With only seven runs to date, including two victories, Methuselah was thrown in the deep end and entered in the Listed Tasmanian Derby on the 5th February 2012. With stable jockey Jarrod Todd aboard he was able to take the 3yo son of Savoire Vivre to the lead in the early stages of the race. After being unchallenged for the lead for the entire race Methuselah started to extend at the 600mtr mark before kicking away on the turn to score an impressive 2.8 lenght victory.

Kid Kobe back to His Best

After winning only 1 race from 12 previous starts and becoming a touch frustrating for his owners, Kid Kobe turned his winning form around for a strong win in a 3yo 1100mtr at Hobart. Jockey, Jarrod Todd after winning the previous race on Methuselah positioned his mount in a good position before storming away over the last 100mtrs, winning by 1.5 lengths.
