After placing on 2 previous race track appearances Single Tail was looking to score her Maiden victory on her home track at Mornington. In a 2000 metre Maiden on January 9th 2022 Laim Riordan form a wide gate settled Single Tail at the rear of the field. With 600 metres to go Liam began his run and on turning hit the front to power away for a commanding 2.75 length win.
