Sherpa Has His Day Out

Sherpa Finally Salutes

After 17 raceday appearances which included 8 seconds, some of these seconds to horse's such as Whobegotyou, Ortensia, Bubble Below and At The Crease, Sherpa finally had his day in the first place stall. In a 1000mtr 3yo + Up Maiden at Pakenham on the 10th October Sherpa found himself in a familiar role. Sitting just off the speed at the turn jockey Jake Noonan made his move with Sherpa responding and hitting the front 200mtrs from home, but this time was not over run and recorded a commanding 1.3 length win.

Congratulations to all the owners involved and thank you for the patients you have shown.

Za Bullet wins Maiden Impressively

After an encouraging debut at Geelong running home strong for a second Za Bullet went one better in his second race start in a 1600mtr 3yo Maiden at Ballarat on the 7th October. Settling just off the speed the half brother to Hollow Bullet always travelled well and was just waiting for a run to appear. After looking as though he may not get the run he wanted at the right time, and the leader skipping away it looked as though he may run a nice second again. However with a gap eventually opening at the 300mtr mark Za Bullet took the run and quickened to pick the leader up and win impressively by just under a length leaving jockey Ben Melham quite excited about this colts future.
