After an encouraging Cranbourne Trial it was now time for the son of Anacheeva to head off to the races for his debut run. In a 1300mtr Maiden at Ararat on the 26th Sept 2017, jockey Daniel Moor from the good draw was able to position Saucy Jack on speed before kicking off the turn and scoring an impressive 2.25 length win.
