Reconcentrate Breaks the Stables Valley Curse

After not winning a race at Moonee Valley since March 2008, Reconcentrate was able to break through and win first up on the 25th November 2011. In a 1200 mtr 0-72 3yo + Up Fillies + Mare Hcp, jockey Chris Symons was able to position the filly from a good gate in the box seat. On turning he angled the mare off the fence to score a sound length win.

Mehtuselah Wins First Start Back

In his first start back from a spell, Methuselah was rated an each way chance in a very even 1400 mtr 3yo + Up Maiden at Cranbourne on the 26th November 2011. Settling midfield with Jarrod Todd aboard, he was able to ease out at the 600 mtr mark and sustain a good strong staying run to hold off a challenge in the straight to end up winning comfortably.
