After a strong Maiden win 2 starts back and then a touch disappointing performance at a Midweek Sandown meeting, Okay Boss was out to make amends. On June 20th 2018 at Echuca in a 2yo Handicap over 1200 metres on a Soft 7, Okay Boss was back in the winners stall. With good gate speed, jockey Chris Parnham settled 2nd stalking the leading before looming up on the turn, kicking away and holding off all challenges to score a half length win
