Miss Whytwokay Finds Some Luck
First City Win For Miss Whytwokay
After missing the kick at her last start Miss Y2K was back to her old tricks again in a 0-89 1200mtrs Mares race at Sandown on the 2nd June. However this time the gates opened prematurely and she was the only one to stay in them and the start was declared a false start with many runners taking off and the favourite runner dumping the rider and later being scratched. When the gates opened the next time she jumped liked a greyhound finding herself sitting outside the leader before sustaining a long finishing burst with Craig Newitt aboard scoreing a narrow win.

Ello Ello Gets Well Deserved Maiden Win
After showing some good form in his last prep that saw him beaten by a short head in a Saturday city meeting it was good to see Rollo score impressively first up this prep. In a 2yo Maiden over 1000mtrs at Bendigo on the 3rd of June Ben Melham was able to sit just off the pace before travelling up strong on the turn to kick clear and score a comfortable length win.
