On Sunday the 7th of December at Geelong in a Benchmark 64, It was time to see if the daughter of High Chaparral was a true stayer or not. Over 2440 metres on a soft 6, jockey Chad Schofiled settled the 4yo mare at the tail of the field before letting her role in to the race at the 600 metre mark. By the turn, Kazemi had ambled up to leaders, and once given her head she burst away to score an impressive 5.5 length margin.
