In a Benchmark 64 over 1469mtrs, jockey Harry Coffey had the son of Denman just off the speed nearing the turn. After gaining a run on the turn and becoming unbalanced it took him majority of the straight to gather momentum and stick his head out on the line to score by the narrowest of margins
