humma fly's first up

After a good spell from what was a slightly disappointing last preparation it was great to see Tycoon Humma back again looking to continue her strong first up record. In a Benchmark 78, over 1000 metres at Sandown on February 4th 2023, the daughter of Capitalist was back to her very best. In only a 5 horse race apprentice Matthew Cartwright had the mare sitting 4th and in close contact with the leaders. On turning Matthew pulled Tycoon Humma to the outside and she unleashed a withering turn of foot to sail past the leaders and score a comfortable length and half win.
