El Rocko Gets Back To The Winners Circle

With his last win being back in July 2022 it was great to see El Rocko back in winning form again. After a number of luckless runs, the son of Fastnet Rock finally had conditions to suit and luck in running. In a Benchmark 70 over 1400 metres at Pakenham on a Soft 6, regular jockey Jamie Mott had him positioned just worse than midfield. On turning a gap opened and El Rocko quickened through it score a very comfortable 1.75 length victory.
