El Rocko Continues His Love Affair With The Wet Tracks

After running second at Moonee Valley two starts back on a Soft 5 surface, El Rocko was back to the Valley again this time on a Soft 7 in a Benchmark 100 over 1519 metres. On the minimum weight of 53kg's jockey Jett Stanley placed the son of Fastnet Rock outside the leader in the early stages. Before the turn Jett slid El Rocko up alongside the leader and with a strong kick off the bend he careered away for a convincing 2.75 length victory.
