eagle lands second up

After a solid run first up at Kilmore over 1212 metres which saw him run second, Eagle Spirit's second up assignment was to be at Werribee on the 16th February 2018. In a Benchmark 58 over 1400 metres with 60.5kg's on his back the son of Magnus began well from the wide draw to sit right on the speed. With jockey Daniel Stackhouse aboard Eagle Spirit hit the front early in the straight to hold off all challenges to score a narrow victory.
