Eagle Lands A Well Deserved Victory

After placing in 2 of his last 3 starts Eye Of The Eagle was looking for that elusive win. In a Benchmark 64 over 1500 metres at Sandown on August 6th, jockey Jamie Mott had the son of Alpine Eagle poised on the turn and within striking distance of the leaders. On turning Jamie asked the 4 year old gelding for the supreme effort and he responding by sprinting away for a commanding victory.
