Careering away for a win

After having 7 starts for 5 placings and a couple of those runs without luck it was Careering Away's time to score a Maiden win. After a strong first up performance which saw him run secong over the Warrnambool Carnival the son of Hard Spun was off to the Pakenham Synthetic on the 17th May 2018. With Jamie Mott aboard he began well to settle 2nd stalking the leading before hitting the front on turning and running away for a strong 1 length win over the 1400 metres.
