Beau Rada Shows a Liking For The Synthetic
After a pleasing effort first up it was time to see if the son of Hard Spun would enjoy the conditions of the synthetic track. In a 0-64 1000 metre race at Geelong on the 12th June 2015, Beau Rada staked his normal place in the field back at the rear. With good speed in the race, jockey Matthew Allen began to move him in to the race at the 400 metre mark before unleashing a strong turn of foot to quickly hit the lead and win by half a length.
