Redgum Prince Salutes in a Home Track Showcase

In a 0-72 Showcase over 1200mtrs on the 24th April 2011 (Easter Sunday) at his home track of Mornington, Redgum Prince was seen to be one of the main chances. Jockey Chris Symons had him placed second for most of the race before making his run on the turn to hold off the second placed horse and score by the narrowest of margins.This win now makes it 5 wins from only 18 starts.

Sherpa Stamps his Authority at Stawell

After several placings this prep, Sherpa was able to go one better at Stawell on April 24th 2011 (Easter Sunday). In a 0-68 Hcp over 1100mtrs , jockey Jamie Mott was able to sit just off the speed in a what was a high tempo race before hitting the front just after the turn to storm away for a commanding 2.5lgth victory. This now makes it his 5th win and earnings in excess of the $100,000 mark.
