trouble bound gets there
It took him 30 starts on the flat but Trouble Bound finally wins his Maiden flat race. After not racing since August last year and successfully winning his last two starts over the steeplechases, it was back to the races after trialling well at Cranbourne over 1200 metres. In a 1600 metre Maiden at Colac on the 11th February 2018, jockey Clayton Douglas rode a patient race where the leader at one stage seemed a furlong ahead. With the leader tiring down the straight Trouble Bound came from midfield on turning to run down the leader and score an impressive 2.25 length win and hopefully set up what should be a good jumps season ahead.
